Bolgatty Palace, Kochi
Built in 1774 by a Dutch trader, the Bolgatty Palace is now a heritage hotel maintained by the Kerala Tourism Department. Located on Bolgatty Island which gives it its name, the hotel is easily accessible from Kochi. Incidentally, the Bolgatty palace happens to be the oldest existing Dutch palaces outside the Netherlands.
